To write your song we need what you tell us, and it is often personal. Here is what we do with it, who can see it and how long we keep it.
Who is responsible
Gamatech, 12 rue de la Part-Dieu, 69003 Lyon, France. For any question about your data: hello@seregami.com.
The data we collect
- Your email address.
- Your answers to the questionnaire: the person's first name, your relationship, your signature, your memories and your message.
- The lyrics, the title and the audio files of the song.
- The order: version chosen, amount, date and payment status, date of the first download and of the first opening of the gift link. Never your card number, which Stripe handles.
- Technical data needed to run and secure the site (connection logs).
Only give us what the song needs. Avoid health details, opinions, or anything the person concerned wouldn't want passed on. Your answers may be about someone else: make sure they remain respectful of that person.
Why, and on what basis
- Writing and composing the song, listening to it before sending, delivering it and sending the emails along the way: performance of the contract, or steps you ask for before payment.
- Sending one reminder, 24 hours after your two versions, if you haven't ordered: legitimate interest. You can ask us not to send it.
- Answering your requests and preventing fraud: legitimate interest.
- Keeping invoices and accounting records: legal obligation.
We do not sell or rent your data.
Who can see it
- Our team, who listen to each song and read the lyrics before sending.
- Our service providers, each for their part: the host (OVH, France), the artificial intelligence provider that writes the lyrics (United States), the artificial intelligence provider that composes the music and receives the lyrics and the sung name (United States), the payment service (Stripe) and the email service (Resend).
- The people you send the gift link to: they see the song, the lyrics and your signature, not your answers or your email address.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Some providers therefore process your data outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. Where they offer them, these transfers are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism.
How long
- Song not ordered: 30 days after the last activity, then your answers, the lyrics and the audio are deleted.
- Song ordered: 3 years after delivery, so that your link keeps working, unless you ask for it to be deleted sooner.
- Invoices and accounting records: 10 years.
Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, object to it and ask for a portable copy. Write to hello@seregami.com from the address on your order: we reply within one month. Accounting records are kept for the legal period.
EU residents can also complain to their data protection authority (in France, the CNIL, cnil.fr).
Security
The site has no customer accounts: your song opens with a private link that is hard to guess. Anyone who has that link can access it, so keep it to yourself. The gift link only opens the song and the lyrics.
Cookies
Audience measurement: to know how many people visit the site, where they come from and at which step they stop, the site sets two first-party cookies, with no advertising and no sharing with other companies. “sg_v” holds a random identifier (13 months); “sg_src”, the ad campaign that brought you, if any (30 days). We keep neither your IP address nor any link to your email, and these statistics are deleted after 25 months. You can refuse this measurement at any time with the button below, or by turning on “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” in your browser.
The site sets no advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your agreement first. The payment page is Stripe's, which uses its own cookies, needed for payment and fraud prevention.
Audience measurement is on in this browser.
